Connecting Through Retreats

If you have been following me on social media, or know me personally, you know that retreats of all kinds are SUPER important to me! These retreats can be personal development, yoga, plant medicine, it doesn't matter. In my experience they all have a unique opportunity to disconnect from daily distractions and reconnect with oneself. By stepping away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you get to explore their physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions.

Retreats have taught me the importance of connection. It's essential to our well-being and personal growth, for meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging. Connection allows us to share our experiences, perspectives, and vulnerabilities, creating relationships of understanding and empathy. In today’s fast-paced world, prioritizing connection can enhance our mental health, reduce feelings of loneliness, and promote a sense of purpose.

So many women that I have hosted retreats for, or have been able to participate with, shared a common theme. We all feel alone. We feel like we aren't enough, especially when it comes to looks, motherhood, being in a relationship with our partners. Most of us feel like we arent doing enough, we dont work enough, and the list goes ON. What I have learned is, it's all a LIE. I'm not sure who told us all that BS?! My question I started to ask myself is "Who said" If I question a belief these words come out of my mouth " WHO FUCKIN' SAID?"

THE ANSWER IS NO ONE!! Our parents, or the people who brought us up probably… And we do NOT need to hold on to any belief that doesn't serve us.

The relationships I have made during retreats are so special! You get to spend days with like minded people. People who want to learn and grow, and ask the hard questions like "WHO FUCKIN' SAID".
