Karma and Energy
Karma and energy are fascinating concepts in discussions about life and spirituality…
I heard a saying not sure where or from who.
(Trigger warning I'm about to swear)
"Karma is only a bitch if you are."
My eyes 100% popped out of my head when I heard this. For about a million reasons why... and it hit my heart like a ton of bricks. I have always been afraid of karma because I was living a life of hiding, gossip, not being true to myself, living a life of codependency, afraid of saying no, etc. I felt like karma was hiding behind every corner. And for a few years she was!!! I have learned now in my own personal growth, I am what I put out. No reason for fear.
Example: Gossip. When I hear it now, I put myself in a state of empathy, I soften my heart towards that person. I know what gossip feels like, we all do. And most of the time it isn't 100% truthful. Instead of judging this person, I can feel the pain for this person. They are going through something hard, they are learning a lesson, karma is paying a visit and here to teach. Whomever is being gossiped about, I hold them in my meditations and mind throughout the day(s). This is a PRACTICE. I don't get it right every time, I am also human! All we can do is try. Try to hold space, and be kind. Karma doesn't need to be bad. She's good too!! That's what I want in my life, good karma. When she pays me a visit now, and it's not pleasant, I ask myself "What is this teaching me, and where have I done this to someone else?" take out the victim part, and be the student to what karma is teaching you!
Karma typically refers to the idea that our actions, whether good or bad, create a cycle of cause and effect. It suggests that the energy we put out into the world—through our thoughts, words, and deeds—can return to us in various forms. This can manifest as positive outcomes when we act with kindness and integrity, or negative consequences if we engage in harmful behavior.
Energy, in a broader sense, encompasses the vibrational state of everything around us. Many believe that our thoughts and emotions generate energy that influences our surroundings and relationships. This idea is often explored in practices like meditation, where focusing on positive thoughts can lead to a more harmonious and fulfilling life.
What we put out, we get back. Good, bad, and the ugly.
Simple. What you say, what your actions say, will come back.
Choose wisely, and choose kindly.
