A Trip of a Lifetime: Eight Days in Italy
Visiting Italy feels like stepping into a living masterpiece (especially the castles), where every cobblestone street and the tiny pizza cafes (OH THE PIZZA) tells a story. The air is filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and rich espresso (The BEST espresso EVER), inviting you to linger at a café or grab a quick shot of espresso while you pump gas! No joke! The delicious regional cuisine, everything so fresh and so clean. America is the only country that allows so much BS (excuse my language) in our food. Eating here at home, I need to be very specific with my diet. No gluten. All Non-Gmo, Organic blah blah in order to keep my gut in check. Other countries... where they don't spray their food with roundup- I can eat literally ANYTHING! AND I DID!!! And I felt amazing!
We visited wine country Tuscany! OH the castles, the vineyards, beauty I haven't seen before!! We stayed in a beautiful castle! Visited multiple wineries... drank ALL the wine! And guess what? No hangover. Their alcohol doesn't have any additives either.... So cheers to allllllll the wine!
Give Cinque Terre a Google.... Yes. It's that stunning in real life! We visited all 5 villages, each of them bringing their own vibe!! The hustle, the color, the ocean, and all the smells combined brings your senses ALIVE!
Last stop Rome- Rome captured my heart years ago when we were there with our daughter. The beauty is so captivating. The depth of the buildings, the history, the massiveness of each church. Rome is a feeling of its own. It's a romantic feeling. Everywhere you look it takes your breath away with the vastness the buildings take up. To read the stories of the Kings & Queens, the wars, the love stories. It is quite a remarkable place!
More adventures are coming soon!!
